Since leaving a career in radio and television behind in 1972 – he has been the face, and voice (he voices virtually all of Stetson’s radio and television ads) of Stetson. His knowledge of the business and his worldwide contacts are significant. He spends considerable time overseas – nurturing longtime contacts with agents and Promoters – as well as attending theatricals and concerts that may show an interest to tour NZ. He has a love of theatricals. Stewart’s particular skills are in working with Agents, negotiating contracts and marketing and publicity. Skills that offset Tricia’s Admin and Financial skills. In recent years he has diversified into Asia - which continues to be a developing market for the Stetson group. “Retirement” doesn’t fit into his vocabulary!

Tricia’s life revolves around family, friends and Stetson. With family (2 adult sons) now married and living in the UK – it is frequent trips to see the grandchildren. Stetson she loves with a passion. Touring as Tour and Company Manager since 1979 – she enjoys working alongside all the company members – technicians through to Artists. They all make the whole. Her financial and management skills – and longevity in the business – stand her in good stead when it comes to being ‘on the road’. The pre production months spent ‘pulling it all together’ are often a challenge, but she enjoys the office environment and working alongside Stewart and Barbara means many a laugh as well as many long hours. Her garden and the local gym are 2 recently discovered fixations!
Barbara Ninness
A special member of the Stetson
team – Barbara has been working alongside of Stewart and
Tricia since February 2000. She enjoys the challenges that come
to her (in many various guises) – and is happy to step
outside of her accounting background and assist wherever needed.
When a Stetson Tour is on the road – Barbara keeps the
‘office fires burning’ – and supplies Tricia
and Stewart with a loyalty which is not taken for granted. Every
Office needs a Barbara!!!
The “Food & Beverage Team” of Toby, Jessica and Archie Macpherson
The trio of Toby, Jessica and Archie have moved on from the Telephone Operator 101 Course and are currently assessing Food & Beverage requirements for backstage catering. It is anticipated that they will have much to report in the near future.
CONTRACTORS
Stetson has many NZ Companies and skilled contractors (including Production Manager, Stage Manager and technical people) who put themselves forward for specific tours and/or productions. Many of them have worked with Stetson for years. We could not tour without them, and acknowledge their specialised areas of skill and support. Hats off to you all guys.
