This brilliant one-woman show comes to New Zealand direct from record-breaking performances in the United States. Starring Sunny Thompson who was voted Actress Of The Year for this role in which the San Francisco Daily News stated that this was "one of the greatest performances of the modern stage". Other reviewers have been equally eulogistic, with the Boston writer stating that "I know Marilyn Monroe died 45 years ago. I know that. But... no one is going to convince me that the woman that I spent two hours watching on stage last night was not Marilyn Monroe. I saw Marilyn Monroe!"
It is a strictly limited season in both theatres, so early reservations are recommended.

The stage play is set in a photographic studio, is virtually all-white with beautiful silks of the era as seen in the rehearsal image below, and is in turn witty, sensual and dramatic.
