Donny Osmond

Donny Osmond

Despite a family tragedy, which caused postponement of the original dates, one of the world's most recognisable entertainers, Donny Osmond is definitely coming to NZ for 2 concerts on 31 July and 1 August.

These concerts will showcase Donny as a singer/songwriter, adding to his success from teen idol to seasoned stage performer. These days Donny enjoys performing the early hits (inevitably including Puppy Love and Soldier Of Love), as much he does more contemporary material, including songs such as Neil Finn's Don't Dream It's Over.

Billboard magazine observed that this must-see concert was "an inspired effort from a performer who has been working his magic for an astonishing 40 years now - although he's only 48!. And he's never sounded better".

Recently Paul Holmes flew to Las Vegas to take in Donny's performances there, and was so impressed that he presented an hour-long Special on PrimeTV on 26 July, which drew a very large audience.

The exciting opportunity for people to join an exclusive lunchtime "Audience With Donny Osmond" at the Intercontinental Hotel, Wellington between 12 and 1pm on 31 July, and Sky City, Auckland on 1 August, (not surprisingly) SOLD OUT!  Whilst Donny will NOT be performing at these events, he will be interviewed by NewstalkZB celebrity Presenters - in Wellington by Justin du Fresne, and in Auckland by Mike Hosking for approximately half-an-hour.

REMEMBER THAT YOUR EXISTING TICKETS FOR THE MAY CONCERTS ARE VALID FOR THE SAME SEATS ON 31 JULY OR 1 AUGUST. EXTRA GOOD SEATS HAVE BEEN ADDED FOR NEW BUYERS.
