As you may have observed from a previous note, Tricia and I spent time in Helsinki with members of the creative team mounting the new arena version of STARLIGHT EXPRESS in Scandinavia. It is really state-of-the-art in terms of the technology, and with 29 singing, dancing skaters acting as railway rolling stock, it is a terrific show.

Never having been staged here before, this new version is now set to roll thru NZ in mid-2009, but there is a lot to prepare before that, including casting. Members of Andrew Lloyd Webber's original creative team will come to NZ to assist in those processes. An exciting time for all involved.
