Yes, there was plenty of Starlight in Helsinki this week! Apart from the fact that the days are very short in the Arctic Circle at this time of year, the additional starlight shone in the Hartwall Areena (Finnish spelling) at the first staging of the new arena version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's STARLIGHT EXPRESS which Tricia and I were invited to see. it was terrific!
We didn't have a lot of time for sightseeing as most of our time was occupied with seeing two performances, and discussions around the technical aspects of staging the show. When we did step out, around the middle of the day, although it was light, it was 1 degree Celsius and sleet - so better to be indoors anyway.
A well worthwhile visit.
