Over the past couiple of weeks, apart from my earlier blog about the 'sold out' concert in Scottsdale by AMERICA, Tricia and I were blown away by the touring version of the Twyla Tharp/Billy Joel dance musical MOVIN' OUT which we saw in Phoenix. We'd seen it twice on Broadway, and were always interested to see if we could bring it "downunder". The Broadway version was too complicated to tour, but the US touring production eliminates many of the obstacles, and was a brilliant performance. So, hopefully New Zealand and Australian audiences will get to see it in 2010 - that's only a couple of years away!

In Boston we spent time with our friends and colleagues, the Thompson's. Greg wrote, and Sunny stars in the one woman 'play with music' MARILYN:FOREVER BLONDE. It is superb, and the Boston reviewers (who were at the same performances we attended), gave it some of the most amazing reviews we have ever seen. It is exciting for us that we will be able to bring this remarkable play about Marilyn Monroe to Auckland and Wellington in March/April next year.
