The question of whether a holiday weekend is long, or short, is possibly moot.

However the weather can certainly affect one's impression of it, and certainly the Holiday just passed was far too short - for two reasons. One, the weather was superb, and two, it was spent in the pleasant comapny of a son visiting from Scotland, and a bunch of other friends. Good wine, great company - just like a holiday weekend should be!
