Relatively mild temperatures across the UK was very pleasing and only a minimal amount of rain - so we were blessed. Had only 2 days in London, which included a very pleasant lunch with Sir Tim Rice at his house where we talked about a pending project. There was only time to see one show, and as I had already seen most things on in the West End I went to a revival of a farce I'd seen many years ago, BOEING BOEING. Despite the age of the piece, it stood the test of time well, which I daresay is criteria for good farce.
Time with our families and grandchildren was wonderful, and it was great to be there for the preparations for the launch in St.Andrews, Scotland of Scott's epic book about 'the home of golf' featured on our Home Page.
I've just had 3 days in Singapore, meeting various producers, and seeing the premiere performance of the children's musical based on the Tv show SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS. It was very good, but will it come to New Zealand? Watch this space!
