What a fascinating play is being staged at Circa Theatre at present! Based loosely on the Tampa boat incident in the waters North of Australia it weaves a story around two fictitious brothers - one of whom is the Government Minister in charge of homeland security, and with aspirations to become Prime Minister. The other brother is a contradiction in that he represents refugees attempting to live in Australia. Each has a son who they try to raise in their own moulds. Throw in wives sometimes, but not always, supportive of their husbands endeavours, and a manipulative mistress, and there's plenty to keep the play very lively.

It was great to see some unfamiliar faces on the Circa stage, and some very strong performances in a powerful play that raise some questions that deserve further discussion.
