Life on the road with a living legend is certainly a very special experience. And such was the case with GLEN CAMPBELL. Within the space of a week we played 3 sold out concerts in Rotorua, Wellington and Invercargill. Glen performed for over 2 hours, and apart from a couple of short sequences when his eldest daughter, Debby, sang solo, he was on stage the entire time, and delivered virtually all the hits from an extensive career.

Audience reaction was ecstatic, and he hopes to return again in a couple of years.

While in the deep South he managed to hit a few balls at the Oreti Sands Golf Course. As a long-term golfer, and co-ordinator of the annual Glen Campbell Celebrity Open in California, he was very complimentary about the new holes being developed at Oreti, which were designed by Scott Macpherson (only a minor case of nepotism) in conjunction with Greg Turner.
