The Stetson Group are back into gear after Christmas Festivities and appropriately seeing the New Year in. 2007 is going to be an exciting year!

First up:-Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall and their mates advise they have their work visas for NZ and are now getting ready to come down to present their amazing show…. VIDEO GAMES LIVE. Keep an eye out for their TV ad which will run after 21 Jan. Glen Campbell is (again) having success with "Rhinestone Cowboy" in the UK ….there's also a hilarious updated version by two UK DJ's accessible from the stetson website. We’re delighted that Glen will be coming our way in March (playing Rotorua, Wellington and Invercargill). Stetson first brought Glen to New Zealand in November 1974, and again in '75 – when he was supported by the guys from Lower Hutt – BILL & BOYD. This time in Wellington he will be performing the entire show….. accompanied by his daughter, Debby who sings the many duets that were hits for Glen with the likes of Bobbie Gentry and Anne Murray.

Wellington is a happening place right now – our Te Papa Museum has a breathtaking exhibition – Egypt, Beyond the Tomb. On the 20th January there is the NZ Thundercat Racing Series off Lyall Bay. You must go see this surfcross racing. Alternatively on the same day there is the WINE & RACING FESTIVAL at the Trentham Racecourse. And then there is the wonderful annual CUBA STREET FESTIVAL – 23-24 January.

Tricia and I are delighted to be going to see THE CASE OF KATHERINE MANSFIELD created and perfomed years ago by a young(er) Catherine Downes - now Artistic Director at Downstage. This interpretation will open at Downstage on Thursday night, with Katherine being played by Danielle Cormack.
