Tricia and Stewart have worked together for over 30 years. Their office is on the farmland of Waikanae …. Within commuting distance of Wellington. They have successfully combined a love of overseas travel, touring and producing with a family life involving the raising of 2 young sons ….. now adults with their own families and living in the UK. By the end of 2006, Stewart and Tricia will have Produced and/or toured, over 150 productions.
They both enjoy working together and with a team. They value the special people that have continued to contract to Stetson for years ….. their skills and support have helped give Stetson the valuable reputation it has today. The Stetson large storage space at Paraparaumu – is full to the brim – with sets (Evita, Chess, Phantom of the Opera etc) and much technical and musical equipment. ..... some of which they hire out.
Stetson’s reputation has traveled afar – and Stewart and Tricia very much enjoy working with some Australian, Japanese and European Producers. With their love of travelling they spend several weeks a year outside of NZ - attending concerts and shows.... and with colleagues.
Stewart’s producing skills lie in marketing, casting, and an eye for a point of difference. Tricia’s are quite different – she is happy to work behind the scenes on the finances, the booking of venues and accommodation etc, maintain good team work with the contractors and keep the filing up to date – so long as at the end of the day she can pick up the files and go out on the road!!
Show business is like a roundabout –it keeps going round and round, …….. Tricia and Stewart are not yet ready to jump off!
